Introduction to your Travelocity Business Travel
Site
To manage its business travel needs, your company has elected
to participate in the Travelocity Business corporate travel
program (the Program), which permits you or one or more
designated travel arrangers acting on your behalf (each,
a Travel Arranger) to purchase travel products and services
or otherwise use this site for you. Your companys participation
in the Program and portions of this site are administered
by one or more of your companys employees acting as site
administrators (each, a Site Administrator). We respect
and will continue to respect the privacy of our customers
who use Travelocity Business.
You may either purchase and manage your own travel or rely
on a Travel Arranger to do so on your behalf. To purchase
and manage your travel, you must have an account with your companys Travelocity Business travel site
(the "Travel Site"). This policy applies to you regardless
of whether you are purchasing and managing your travel yourself
or through a Travel Arranger. This policy also applies regardless
of whether such travel is business or personal.
Accordingly, unless otherwise stated, when we refer to "you" in
this privacy policy, we are referring to you as the traveler,
whether you are acting on behalf of yourself or through a
Travel Arranger.
While this policy is primarily directed at you, it also
applies to Travel Arrangers and Site Administrators. As a
general matter, any personal information that a Travel Arranger
or Site Administrator provides to us about himself or herself
in connection with the Program is protected as set forth
in this privacy policy. Travelocity Business, however, reserves
the right to contact Travel Arrangers and Site Administrators
as contemplated by your company's Participation Agreement
with us (e.g., for feedback on the Program, to discuss the
business relationship, etc.).
In addition, purchasing and managing travel on your behalf,
and administering the Travel Site, Travel Arrangers and Site
Administrators are responsible for obtaining your consent
before acting on your behalf and for ensuring that your receive
and agree to the terms of this policy. Each Travel Arranger
and Site Administrator also agrees to comply with the terms
of this privacy policy when providing or handling any of
your personal information.
Travel administration by your Site Administrator or Travel
Arranger
If we are required to send you any notification or communication
(e.g., travel itineraries, confirmations, etc.), we will
send them to you if you are a registered user of the Travel
Site or if you are not a registered user but your Travel
Arranger has provided us with your contact information. Otherwise,
we will send such notification or communication to your Travel
Arranger, who will be responsible for sending it to you.
Site Administrator(s) may have the ability and discretion
to delete or disable your account with the Travel Site. We
are not responsible for any of their actions in this respect,
and any questions in this regard should be directed to your
Site Administrator(s).
Whether you purchase travel directly from us or allow your
Travel Arranger to do so on your behalf, your Travel Arranger
and Site Administrator(s) may have access to your login name,
password, name of your member account, as well as your travel
itineraries and all other information in your account, and
may share this information with others within your company.
Your Travel Arranger and Site Administrator(s) will also
be able to update your profile settings (excluding your login
name and password) and travel preferences. Your Travel Arranger
and Site Administrator(s) will also be able to view, change,
or cancel any of your trip itineraries.
What personal information is gathered by Travelocity
Business and how is this information being used?
Member Registration
When you become a Travelocity Business member or when your Travel Site account is created by your company on your behalf, we receive
your name, address, telephone number, email address, a
unique login name, password, and password validation. This
information is collected for several reasons including:
(i) personal identification; (ii) to complete air, car,
and hotel reservations; (iii) to allow us to contact you
for customer service, if necessary; (iv) to customize the
content of our site to meet your specific needs; and (v)
to make product improvements to Travelocity Business. In
addition, your email address is collected to send you an
email message confirming each reservation you transact
online. As a member you may occasionally receive updates
from us about fare sales in your area, special offers,
new Travelocity Business services, and other noteworthy
news items. However, you may always decline to receive
these email messages. Please see our Opt
Out policy described below.
Member Profile
Members can choose to provide Travelocity Business with travel
preferences, credit card billing information, ticket delivery
address, and other personal information that your company
may require you to provide. This information is primarily
used to assist members in making reservations quickly without
having to type in the same information repeatedly. For
example, members can store their airline frequent flyer
numbers so that when a reservation is made on that airline,
Travelocity Business automatically pre-fills the frequent
flyer number input box.
Flight Paging
Travelocity Business's Flight Paging feature allows members
to receive updated flight information such as departure
time and gate through a pager. To receive these messages,
Travelocity Business will collect your pager name, pin
number, airline, and flight numbers.
Contests
Travelocity Business occasionally sponsors contests to give
members the opportunity to win great travel prizes. Information
collected by Travelocity Business for such contests can
include contact information and survey questions. Contact
information is used to notify contest winners and survey
information is used to develop promotions and product improvements
to Travelocity.
Online Surveys
Travelocity Business values opinions and comments from members,
so we frequently conduct online surveys. These surveys
are entirely optional for all members. Typically, the information
is aggregated and used to make improvements to Travelocity
Business and to develop appealing content, features and
promotions for members. Survey participants are anonymous
unless otherwise stated in the survey.
Cookies
"Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on
your computer's hard drive. Travelocity Business does not currently use cookies
on the Travel Site.
IP Addresses
Travelocity Business collects IP addresses to help diagnose
problems with our servers and for system administration.
Who will the information be shared with, if
anyone?
When you reserve or purchase travel services through Travelocity
Business, we must provide information about you to the airline,
car rental agency, hotel or other involved third party to
ensure the successful fulfillment of your travel arrangements.
We do not sell individual customer names or other private
profile information to third parties and have no intention
of doing so in the future. Occasionally, Travelocity Business
will hire a third party to act on our behalf for projects
such as market research surveys and contest entry processing
and will provide information to these third parties specifically
for use in connection with these projects. The information
we provide to such third parties is protected by a confidentiality
agreement and is to be used solely for completing the specific
project. We must also share your personal information among
certain of our affiliates at Sabre Holdings Corporation in order for us to provide the rich
functionality provided in the Travelocity Business program.

Opt Out policy
You can unsubscribe to any newsletters that you sign up for
via a link to on the Travel Site. As a member or contest
entrant you may occasionally receive email updates from
us with items you may find of interest. If you would rather
not receive them, please contact us at privacy@travelocitybusiness.com.
How can you access, update or correct your information?
At any time, you can view and/or update your personal profile,
which includes member registration and travel preferences
information, via a link on the Travel Site.
What safeguards are in place to protect the
loss, misuse or alteration of your information?
All personally identifiable information you provide to Travelocity
Business is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.
SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically
encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us.
What other information
should I know about my privacy?
Travelocity Business contains links to other Web sites. Please
note that when you click on one of these links, you are entering
another Web site for which Travelocity Business has no responsibility.
We encourage you to read the privacy statements of all such
sites as their policies may be materially different from
this policy. Of course, you are solely responsible for maintaining
the secrecy of your passwords and any account information.
Please be very careful, responsible, and alert with this
information, especially whenever you're online.
In addition to the circumstances described above, Travelocity
Business may disclose member information if required to do
so by law, court order, as requested by other government
or law enforcement authority, or in the good faith belief
that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable including,
without limitation, to protect the rights or properties of
Travelocity Business or its affiliates or when we have reason
to believe that disclosing the information is necessary to
identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who
may be causing interference with our rights or properties,
whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could
be harmed by such activities. Additionally, we may share your information in the unlikely event of a sale of the business or transfer of assets.
Any material changes in the way Travelocity Business uses
personal information will be described in future versions
of this Privacy Policy. Of course, you may always submit
concerns regarding our Privacy Policy or our privacy practices
to privacy@travelocitybusiness.com.
